• What forms of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), commercial cards, eChecks, and Paypal.

• When will my order be processed?

Orders always begin processing the same day they are placed (excluding holidays) and usually ship within two business days pending availability and credit card verification. You will be contacted if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if additional information is required for credit verification.

• What is your return policy?

Rickety Rack offers easy exchanges or store credit for items returned within 30 days of the original purchase date. Simply ship unwanted items to the return address designated on your return slip and we will e-mail you a unique credit code on receiving your return.

• I'm hesitant to order clothing online since I can't try it on. How do I choose the right size?

• I need a dress delivered in 1-2 days and would like to know before ordering Express if that is possible. What do I do?

In most cases we can get a dress delivered the next day or day after. Just contact us with the above noted and include the product name and size needed. Our team will get back to you within minutes and confirm a delivered-by date.

• I don't see my size listed. Is there a chance you can get it still?

Rickety Rack products sell out quickly, but popular items are restocked regularly. You can influence how quickly we restock your size by using the social media share buttons on every page.

• I love your strapless styles but hate going strapless! What do I do?

Pair it with a matching cardigan! You can find a basic layering piece with short or long sleeves virtually anywhere. Your arms will be covered and you'll be able to flaunt a wider range of dresses!

• I'm on a budget - why is it hard to find dresses under $50 here?

Rickety Rack does not support slave labor which is how large companies like H&M, Forever 21 and Topshop get prices down. We work with ethically-driven labels and never sell clothing made in Cambodia, Bangladesh, Indonesia or Vietnam. Our products come from the USA, United Kingdom, or fair-labor manufacturers in China where safety inspections meet our strict standards.

• I need to order a large quantity of dresses for a group. Can I be guaranteed that all sizes I order will be in stock? How soon can my order be delivered?

We will be happy to cater to you for your special event! Please contact us to let us know which product(s) you're interested in and what sizes you need. We will respond immediately and make special arrangements to have your order ready to ship within two working days via Priority mail.

• I am an international customer. How do I determine my US size? Are prices in US dollars?

Our international size conversion chart is displayed below. Australian and UK sizes are interchangeable. All prices quoted on the site are in US dollars. To convert prices to a different currency, international customers are advised to use our trusted currency converter. Because sizing and cut will vary between brands, please use our size charts as a general guide to compare the various size scales. Meet Our Founder



Paula Silinger founded Rickety Rack in 2010 after receiving a master's degree in Gender Studies with a primary mission to dress women in compelling and transformative fashion. Her catch line - "conscious power dressing" - became the essential heartbeat of Rickety Rack: A place where women could go to find statement pieces which communicated to the world everything they wanted to say through a visual medium. It was the invasion of leisure dressing and a notable "sweatpant culture" which drove Paula to encourage women to honor their bodies through next-level dressing. She recently said in an interview:

"Self-respect comes in many forms, and one of the most noticeable is in the amount of energy we use in dressing ourselves. Regardless of age, lifestyle, job or socioeconomic status, women can formulate an identity and real self-esteem through the fashion they wear. This opportunity should never be wasted."

Working as a stylist in Beverly Hills, Paula's emphasis on bold design caught the attention of Vogue, ELLE, Harper's Bazaar and Glamour magazine. In 2012, Rickety Rack dresses began gracing the pages of endless fashion publications around the world. GoDaddy gave Paula her own commercial in 2013 recognizing her as a leading entrepreneur and small-business owner, and Urban Coco Magazine interviewed her in their "Designer Spotlight" column.
